Since the summer time is so valuable, moments spent still are very aggravating. I’ve spent the past two days waiting. Waiting during the late hours of the night for the first Harry Potter showing to start, for the movie where I’d be so tired to even remember it the next day (this is another reason why HP does so well, everyone has to see it at least twice). Tender Greens so crowded yesterday but I still waited half an hour to get an overpriced salad to go. Standing in line seems pretty bad but it’s even worse when you’re sitting in a hot car on the 10 freeway. The only bearable way to drive across town is if you have the new Grizzly Bear album playing.

In the guest room of my aunt’s apartment, lives a lamp that regulates the sleeping habits.
When I was staying in at my Aunts house in Paris, there were two lamps that rested beside my bed. One, functioned perfectly, the other was a different story. Even though I turned the lamp off, every slight move I made some how triggered the lamp to go on. This caused a night of restless struggle with me and the inanimate object.
